Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to support the medical curriculum by providing a linguistic introduction to the use of the English language for professional activities (academic and occupational English) in daily medical practice.
Course Content Theoretical and practical courses: multimedia sessions, role play, peer discussions, plenary sessions with student presentations, lectures, reading and listening comprehension exercises of simple medical conversations and basic texts, analyses of simple medical texts (popular media, general health information leaflets etc.)
