Objectives of the Course
|
The aim is to teach basic surgical topics and principles to sixth year medical students with case discussions, paper presentations and bedside training. They will earn to be a part of a surgical team and will take increased responsibility for the patient care.
The students will have opportunities to join out- and in-patient care with medical teachers and other health professional sin relevant hospitals of Acibadem Health Care Group.
Each student is expected to:
Incorporate basic knowledge and clinical experience to obtain modern patient- oriented clinical care.
To participate the care of patients in the various stages (preoperative area, inpatient and outpatient clinics, operative procedures, recovery and follow-up) of evaluation and treatment by surgeons.
