History
Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Health Management started education and training in 2009-2010 academic year. The department consists of academicians specializing in the field of academic staff and who have served in management positions in the health sector for many years. The importance of professional health managers in health care enterprises with a complex structure, rapidly growing, many professional groups working together and having large budgets is increasing day by day. In recent years, both the expectations of public opinion regarding rational use of resources and patient satisfaction in our country and the regulations that increase competition in health sector have brought to the forefront the need for qualified personnel trained in health management. The Department of health management emphasizes the concept of education, which integrates theory with practice, the education program designed according to international standards in its field, the support it receives from Acibadem Health Group, and the opportunity to practice and train its students from the second grade within Acibadem health group.
Qualification Awarded
After 4 years of education, graduates receive bachelor's degree in “Health Management“.
Admission Requirements
The Department of Health Management receives students according to the type of the Equal Weight (EA) score obtained from the Higher Education Institutions exam (YKS) conducted by student selection and placement center (ÖSYM).
Higher Grade Transition
Graduates can apply to master's and/or doctoral programs in Health Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Quality Management, Marketing and international trade.
Graduation Requirements
Students have to pass all the courses in the program and must not have FF, FG, NA and U grades in order to graduate. In the Health Management Program, the student has to provide a minimum of 240 ECTS credits and a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

Graduates serve as administrative, financial and technical managers in a wide range of services in various health institutions and institutions connected to the public and private sectors, especially hospitals.

Assessment and Grading
A variety of measurement and evaluation methods are used for the evaluation of the students, such as midterm, quiz, practical, project, report, and final exam. For graduation, the cumulative grade point average is expected to be at least 2 out of 4.
