About Programme

The aim of Electroneurophysiology Program is to raise health technicians who perform neurophysiological examinations for patients in neurophysiology laboratories, intensive care units and during operations.

The program has a 2-year education period and the education language is Turkish.

Program students gain pre-graduate professional experience with internships in the hospitals of Acıbadem Healthcare Group and other health institutions which are in cooperation with the university.

History
Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, Vocational School of Health Services, Electroneurophysiology programme has been admitting students since 2013-2014 Academic Year.
Qualification Awarded
Those who complete their two - year education and graduate with an associate degree take the title of Health Technician-Elektroneurophysiology technician
Admission Requirements
Electroneurophysiology Program;admits students according to the basic proficiency test (TYT) score taken from the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement center (OSYM).
Higher Grade Transition
Students who have successfully completed their associate degree may continue their undergraduate education in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Nursing and Health Services programs by taking the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, the student must accomplish all the courses in the programme and not have the grades of FF, FG, NA and U. In the electroneurophysiology program, students must complete 120 ECTS and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Students who graduate from the electroneurophysiology program are able to work in the Electroneurophysiology Laboratories, Operating Theatres and sleep units of public or private hospitals and polyclinics under the supervision of Neurology, ENT, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Pulmonologists and Physiology specialists.
Assessment and Grading
The measurement and evaluation methods applied for each course are defined in the “Course Instruction Plan”prepared by the course lecturers and included in the information package. Related articles of Acıbadem University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation are applied regarding exams and course final grades.
