About Programme

Our faculty members attend the theoretical and practical courses of the students of the Faculty of Medicine at the undergraduate level. Faculty members of the Department also take charge and guide in the modules of problem-based teaching (PBL) in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the Institute of Health Sciences Histology - Embryology, Medical Biotechnology Master's and Doctorate Program and Biomaterials. They are also included in the postgraduate education staff. 6 students, whose advisors are in the Histology - Embryology Master's program and Medical Biotechnology Master's program, in which our faculty members are involved, continue their education. Our Department started education in 2009 with the establishment of our university.

History
The Department of Histolopji and Embryology started its education in 2009 and produce the first graduate in 2013.

Admission Requirements
To be a graduate of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Biology, Molecular Biology and genetics, Pharmaceutical, bioengineering, medicine, engineering, bioengineering and genetic,s to provide a transcript or document that may be awarded until the registration period (applications from different departments will be evaluated by the related committee) The equivalence of diplomas obtained from foreign countries must be approved by the YÖK. adopted by the board of higher education foreign language exams;
TOEFL-IBT: minimum 60 points
YDS / UDS/KPDS/YÖKDIL: at least 50 points
For candidates who do not have a foreign language certificate, they will be asked to have received at least 50 points from the Foreign Language proficiency exam, which will be conducted by the Department of Foreign Languages of Acıbadem university.
Higher Grade Transition
Those who complete the master's degree program can receive a doctorate in histology and embryology or other basic sciences
Graduation Requirements
Students who have successfully completed their thesis study and have been successful in the thesis defense exam are considered to have successfully completed their master's degree provided that they have a passing grade determined by the Institute of Health Sciences.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of the master's program in basic medical sciences histology and Embryology can be a researcher and instructor, may continue their academic careers with PhD, or can work as a researcher in various laboratories.A graduate student who is the subject of a master's thesis related to reproductive medicine can obtain a Certificate in the Laboratory of In Vitro Fertilization embryology and work in this field if he wishes.
Assessment and Grading
Studies like Midterm/homework/project, etc. are conducted by the instructors who teach the course for each course. and final exam is held at the end of each semester.
The course passing grade for each course is seventy points.
