About Programme

Computer Programming is a program related to computer technologies, programming, computer use, software development (in Local, Intranet, or Internet environments), hardware, maintenance and repair, installation, and management of computer networks. In the field of informatics, the need for technicians who specialize in their field every day in our country, who can produce the right solution to problems, who are qualified, have absorbed teamwork, have developed analytical thinking ability, and who can work as a programmer and/or technical support staff is increasing. In this context, courses based on computer hardware and software technologies are included in the curriculum of this program, which was opened to obtain a profession in a field of great need. Besides the compulsory courses, students will also take elective courses, such as embedded systems. system design, computer hardware, computer networks, databases, programming, Object Oriented Programming, mobile programming, Internet programming.
 

Computer Programming, which is a rapidly developing field in the world and Turkey,aims to train an intermediate workforce with decency at the global level. Graduates will have the opportunity to work in  industrial organizations, software companies, computer sales, and technical support firms, banks, insurance companies, commercial organizations, internet service providers, companies, internet broadcasting, TV and radio companies, research companies, stock exchanges, transportation, education, logistics companies, public institutions and organizations, and service sector.

History
Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, Vocational School, Computer Programming Program has been accepting students since the 2022-2023 academic year.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive an Associate Degree in Computer Programming.
Admission Requirements
Computer Programming Program accepts students according to Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score obtained as a result of Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) conducted by Turkish Republic's Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
Higher Grade Transition
Students who graduate from the Computer Programming Program can gain the right to enroll in relevant undergraduate programs through the vertical transfer exam (DGS) if a quota is opened in accordance with the "Regulation on the Continuation of Undergraduate Education for Associate Degree Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education". Graduation Requirements
In order for the student to graduate, he or she must have passed all the courses in the program and must not have a grade of FF, FG, NA or U. In the Computer Programming Program, the student must complete 120 ECTS and the GPA must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
It is aimed to train an intermediate workforce with global competence with Computer Programming, which is a rapidly developing field in the world and in Turkey. Graduates will have wide job opportunities in public institutions and organizations, such as software companies, computer sales and technical support companies, banks, insurance companies, commercial organizations, internet service providers, internet broadcasting companies, radio-television companies, research companies, stock exchanges, transportation, education, logistics companies and service sectors, especially industrial organizations.
Assessment and Grading
Various measurement and evaluation methods such as midterm exam, quiz, practice, project, report, final are used to evaluate students. For graduation, the program GPA is expected to be at least 2.00 out of 4.00. Courses are scored and lettered as follows;
