Neuroscience (neuroscience) is the field of science that covers the scientific study of the nervous system. Neuroscience studies and researches the nervous system from a structural, developmental, evolutionary, functional and medical point of view.
Its branches in various types of Neuroscience (Anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, pharmacology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, radiology, etc.) and non-medical science in various fields (biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and engineering sciences, such as a place that is important to them that they could find multi-disciplinary field of research. Macro and micro anatomy of the peripheral and central nervous system, brain, sensory systems, neurons, synaptic structures, neurotransmitters, noromodulator in neural connections, networks, vision, hearing, pain, language, learning, memory, cognition and neural science, some important research topics.
Neuroscientists Neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neural chemistry, norofarmakoloji, neuroimaging, neurotechnology, developmental neuroscience, Social Neuroscience, the neural philosophy of Science, the understanding of the causes of neurological and psychiatric diseases and drug conduct research on development issues.
Neuroscience is a branch of science in which very important and exciting developments are taking place all over the world and in our country. The leading countries in science for research in this field have announced special programs [such as the United States BRAIN Initiative (USA), the European Union's Human Brain Project (EU), the China Brain Project (China)] and created large funds for these studies. It is hoped that in the coming years there will be increases and developments in research in the field of neuroscience.
In parallel with these important developments in the world in our country, the field of neuroscience research is one of the priority areas where major developments are expected, and there is a need for competent scientists to conduct high-level research in this field. Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University has a very competent academic staff working in the field of neuroscience and equipped modern research laboratories. Our university aims to contribute to the education of competent scientists who will work in the field of neuroscience with the doctoral program in neuroscience.
