About Programme
|
The aim of Audiometry Program is to raise health technicians who perform hearing diagnostic tests, evaluate the results of medical or surgical interventions to correct hearing impairment, and use test devices that can detect equilibrium and related disorders.
The program has a 2-year education period and the education language is Turkish.
In the program, practical trainings are carried out in the Audiology Laboratory along with theoretical knowledge.

The programme has been admitting students since 2015-2016 academic year.

Qualification Awarded
|
Those who have completed their two - year education and graduated with an associate degree, receive the title of Health Technician-audiometry technician.

Admission Requirements
|
Our programme admits students according to the resutls of YKS and TYT that are conducted by OSYM.
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Graduates, by taking the advantage of the regulation on the continuity of their undergraduate education”, if the quota is opened in vertical transfer exam (DGS) determined by OSYM, have a right to register for Physics, Audiology, Special Education Teaching, Optical and Acoustic Engineering, Physics Engineering, Emergency and Disaster Management, Healthcare Management undergraduate programmes.

Graduation Requirements
|
In order to graduate, the student must have accomplished all the courses in the program and not have the grades of FF, FG, NA and U. In the Programme, students must complete 120 ECTS and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
|
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Our graduates are able to work as audiometrists in public and private institutions in the health sector.
